YEMSA: ALS Update Class

Sacramento, California 95815 - Introduction: All paramedics accredited in Yolo County will be required to attend a mandatory YEMSA ALS Update class once during a two-year accreditation cycle. Changes to the policy go into effect August 1, 2019. All other requirements to the Paramedic Reaccreditation Process still apply
All paramedics accredited in Yolo County will be required to attend a mandatory YEMSA ALS Update class once during a two-year accreditation cycle. These trainings will be offered every other month by YEMSA at various locations. Changes to the policy go into effect August 1, 2019. All other requirements to the Paramedic Reaccreditation Process still apply.
- For paramedics reaccrediting before July 31, 2019: current reaccreditation requirements apply. Requirements include: Two (2) Case Reviews or CQI Meetings; one (1) must be in person, the other may be in person or online.
- For paramedics reaccrediting August 1, 2019 through September 31,2019: either current reaccreditation requirements listed above apply or a YEMSA ALS class.
- For paramedics reaccrediting after September 31, 2019, new YEMSA reaccreditation requirements apply.
