About the County Administrator's Office
The County Administrator's Office carries out the policies established by the Board of Supervisors for the county. It also serves as the executive management for county departments and agencies. The County Administrator is tasked with several key responsibilities, including the development, preparation, and management of the annual recommended budget, assisting with policy development, and participating in and coordinating activities with various local, regional, and statewide organizations. Furthermore, the office oversees the overall administration, management, and support functions for the county. This includes managing the Clerk of the Board, Economic Development, Human Resources, Intergovernmental Relations, the Office of Emergency Services (OES), Public Information, and Tribal Affairs.
