General Services Department Mission Statement : Providing the foundation to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services in the natural and built environment throughout Yolo County.

The Yolo County General Services Department includes the following divisions:

Facilities Division: provides a broad range of internal support services for county departments and agencies. These include planning, construction, maintenance and repair of county owned and leased buildings and facilities

Parks Division: is responsible for providing a variety of parks and recreation opportunities for Yolo County residents by, directly providing facilities for outdoor recreation; assisting unincorporated communities in meeting their recreational needs; and providing support for private landowner initiatives and other private entrepreneurs, as consistent with County policies and values. The Parks Division maintains almost 2,000 acres of park and open space, divided between a total of 16 parks (including three boat launch facilities along the Sacramento River).
