(Woodland, CA) – The following programs will be held during the month of December at Yolo County’s Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, located at 315 E. 14th Street in Davis:

• December 5: Lego Block Party, 2:00 p.m. Come use your imagination to build with legos!

• December 6, 13 and 20: Bi-lingual Chinese Story Time, 3:00 p.m. For children ages 1-3.

• December 10: Active Older Adult Wisdom Circle, 11:00 a.m. Discuss and explore aspects of the conscious aging movement and mine the wisdom of long lives.

• December 12: Family Movie, 2:00 p.m. All children and their families are invited to view a family-friendly movie (G or PG) at the library. For movie title call (530) 757-5593.

• December 19: Davis Origami Group, 1:00 p.m. Learn to fold paper into different shapes. First hour is for beginners; open to all ages and abilities.

The following ongoing programs continue in December (except December 20 through January 3):

• The Spot: Monday through Thursday for grades 4-7. Contact the library for hours.
• Mother Goose on the Loose: Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
• Pajama Story Time: Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
• Hug a Bye Baby: Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m.
• Tot Playtime: Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m.
• Adventuras de Lecturas: Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
• Tales for Tails: Fridays at 3:00 p.m.
• Family Fun Time: Saturdays at 11:15 a.m.

The following programs will be held during the month of December at Yolo County’s South Davis Marguerite Montgomery Satellite Branch, located at 1441 Danbury Street in Davis:

• Adventuras de Lecturas: Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.
• Book Club: third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

NOTICES: Yolo County Library branches will be close at 6:00 p.m. on December 24 and and will be closed all day on December 25 and January 1.
