Charges Filed in Woodland Homicide

(Woodland, CA) – August 14, 2009 District Attorney Jeff Reisig announced that on Wednesday the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against 29 year old Marcelino Moises Michel, Jr. and 19 year old Rachelle Anna Marie Pease. Both are Woodland residents.

Michel is charged with one felony count of Murder; and one felony count of Possession of Firearm by Person Previously Convicted of a Felony; with several Enhancements for intentionally discharging a firearm causing great bodily injury; intentionally firing a firearm from a motor vehicle; for being a habitual criminal; and for a prior prison commitment. Pease is charged with one felony count of Accessory to a Felony.

Both defendants will be in court to be formally arraigned on Monday, August 17, 2009 in Dept. 9 of the Yolo County Superior Court.
