The California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) §18944.1 Gifts: Tickets or Passes to Events (PDF: 23 kB) requires all County officials (elected, appointed or designated employees of the County of Yolo) who receive complimentary tickets to report their acceptance of tickets per FPPC guidelines.
On July 26, 2022, the Board adopted the Ticket Distribution and Disclosure Policy. The purpose of this policy is to describe the "public purpose" to be achieved through the distribution of tickets or passes to County officials such that those tickets or passes will not be considered gifts under the Political Reform.
County officials must complete Form 802 identifying County/Agency officials who receive tickets or passes, as well as other individuals and organizations that receive tickets or passes from County/Agency officials. Form 802 documents are filed on this Web page and with the FPPC.
