and to improve environmental standards for all, an ordinance was passed
on August 5th, 2008, requiring residents in densely populated areas
to dispose of trash on a weekly basis.

APPLY for potential savings with the Low Income Discount Program (LISP) Exemption applications are considered when one or more of the following criteria are met:

At Home Composting - information coming soon
Compost Exemption Application(PDF)
Property is a vacant lot with no structure
Residence will be vacant for two or more months and owner can provide proof of vacancy
(ie,. For Sale Listing Agreement, Letter from Water Agency, PG&E Statements)

The waste haulers allow residents with permanent disabilities that receive cart collection services at a location other than the curbside or roadside at no additional charge. Please review the Assisted Service Application (PDF) to verify that you qualify. Mail your completed application to the Yolo County division of Integrated Waste Management as noted.
