Continuing and Upcoming Road Closures 

SUBJECT TO CHANGE

1.Old River Rd. between CR 126 & approximately 1,000-feet north of the CR 126/Old River Rd. intersection; alternate detour road section will be active from 9/23/23 to 12/31/25 (subject to change).  Army Corps of Engineers project to widen the Sacramento Bypass flood control structure to mitigate flood risks and safeguarding the areas adjoining the Sacramento River.  Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.  Stay tuned to our 'Road Closures' page for future updates. 

2. Alameda Ave (CR 148) between Central Ave & Hamilton Rd.; road closed to non-local traffic due to the muddy conditions of this segment of unpaved road during the wet season. Commuters could get stuck on mud and damage their vehicles. Access to properties and business along the closed section of road will provided at all times.

 3.  County Road 99D between south end of the Davis Golf Course to approximately one mile south at the Davis city limit will have intermittent lane closures and possible full closures with detours for a waterline installation.  The work is scheduled for October 21, 2024 through December 2024 between the hours of 7 am & 6 pm; the schedule is weather dependent and may change.  The project is a part of the effort to provide City of Davis water service to the North Davis Meadows community.
