Road Maintenance Request

County road maintenance crews are constantly inspecting the 757 miles of County roadways for hazards, but they can’t be everywhere (link here for more information on the work of Yolo County's Road Crew). We’d like to hear from you if you see County road conditions that need maintenance.

Use the link below to report non-emergency problems such as pot holes and other minor street repairs, malfunctioning traffic signals, and damaged street signs on county roads. Provide as much information as possible about the location of the pothole or street failure. Avoid vague descriptions like "One mile west of Esparto" or "3 blocks south of Grafton." A street address is helpful. The following are some typical types of problems:

 Pothole Pavement Cracks   Rough Surface
Debris on Shoulder  Hazardous Drainage Grate    Protruding or Sunken Access Cover
Overgrowth Interfering with Line of Sight    Railroad Hazard  Damaged Sign
 Construction Hazard

During regular business hours you can also contact (530) 666-8775. For emergencies, call 911.

Note: Due to budget constraints and reduced road maintenance staff, pothole maintenance requests are being handled on a priority basis. Roads with high traffic volumes receive priority maintenance. If the road on which a pothole is reported is not a high traffic volume road, it will be added on our list of potholes to be fixed as time and resources allow.
