The Intergovernmental Affairs division coordinates the county's legislative program and governmental relations efforts. The county's legislative program includes review and analysis of legislation and development and implementation of the county's annual legislative and intergovernmental advocacy platform.
Governmental relations efforts also include representing the county's interests related to Tribal affairs. The Tribal Relations office tracks and monitors revenues and expenditures related to the administration of the County-Tribe casino mitigation agreement and works cooperatively with Tribal officials, Capay Valley residents, and other stakeholders to resolve issues of mutual concern.
