Service Information

The Garcia Bend County Service Area (CSA 9) was established on November 5, 1985 in order to provide fire protection and emergency medical services to this area south of West Sacramento (map of district). CSA 9 exists as a "paper" district for tax purposes only. All services are contracted out to the City of West Sacramento and paid for by a percentage of property tax. The Garcia Bend CSA is governed by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors and the policies and procedures of the County of Yolo which are available upon request.  There is no advisory committee for this CSA.
