Service Information

The Snowball County Service Area (CSA 6) was established on August 18, 1975 to provide levee repair, operation, control and maintenance services to the areas bounded by the Ridge Cut and the Sacramento River, including the town of Knights Landings (map of district). All services are paid for by a percentage of property tax. View online tax statements.

The Snowball CSA is governed by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors and the policies and procedures of the County of Yolo, which are available upon request. 

The CSA Administrative Support Team collaborates with the Department of Water Resources and the Reclamation Districts associated with the levees in the surrounding areas to provide the most comprehensive services.
