The Rural Community Investment Program (formerly Rural Initiative Program) is a mechanism for assisting rural communities in identifying funding solutions for project needs surrounding economic development or health and safety. Each fiscal year the Yolo County Administrator's Office, working with departments and the rural community, explores, prioritizes and presents projects to the Board of Supervisors for consideration for assistance in the form of grant research or the provision of partial funds.
