Collection Services and Responsibilities
Professional and Specialized Collection Services:
As the collection specialist for Yolo County, Revenues provides professional and specialized collection services, including:
- Billing, cashiering and general collection;
- Assessing ability to pay and collectability of debts;
- Obtaining and enforcing judgments on delinquent accounts;
- Processing accounts to the County Auditor for Discharge of Accountability;
- Consulting with County departments and other County agencies on ways to improve collections.
- Maintaining accountability for debts owed the county.
Payments can be made in person, by phone or by mailed.
Revenues Divisions of Department of Financial accepts payments from third-parties, for example, a friend or relative may write a check or use their credit card to make a payment on your account. They will need your Revenues account number.
Payments are accepted in person at:
- 625 Court St, Rm 102, Woodland, CA 95695 during regular hours of operations.
To make payment by phone:
- Please have your credit card available
- Call (530) 666-8190 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
To make a payment by mail:
- Please use a check, money order or credit card, DO NOT send cash.
- Include the return portion from your statement. If you don't have the return portion of the statement, write your account number on the check or money order. Your social security number can be substituted for the account number.
Please ensure your return address is on the envelope in case Revenues needs to contact you regarding the payment.
