Yolo County Airport is located in central Yolo County near Sacramento, between the cities of Davis, Woodland and Winters, and is less than 30 minutes away from the State Capital.

Access to the Airport is provided by County Road 95, to Roads 29 and 31, each of which connect to CA-113 five miles east and I-505 five miles west. Road 31 itself leads to Davis, while CA-113 leads to Woodland or Sacramento, and I-505 leads to Winters, Vacaville, and the San Francisco Bay Area via I-80.
