The Yolo County homeless services system of care provides housing assistance for Yolo County residents. Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) Homeless Services works in partnership with the cities and local service providers to ensure a robust range of homeless services such as:
- Emergency Shelter
- Transitional Housing
- Rapid Rehousing
- Permanent Housing
- Homeless Outreach
- Housing Case Management
- Housing Navigation
Continuum of Care
The Yolo County Homeless Services team provides staff support to the local Continuum of Care (CoC). Every local community receiving funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is required to have a local continuum of care. The Davis/Woodland/Yolo County Continuum of Care (CA-521), known as the Yolo County Homeless and Poverty Action Coalition (HPAC), is a local planning body that provides leadership and coordination on the issues of homelessness and poverty in Yolo County.
