Yolo County Public Health Laboratory services are provided by the Napa-Solano-Yolo-Marin County Public Health Lab in Fairfield, CA.
To better serve your needs, there will be a daily courier service passing through the Yolo County Department of Community Services every afternoon. Please continue to use the appropriate Yolo County Public Health requisitions, filling them out with complete information including collection time and date, test requested, and specimen background information.
NOTE: Certain types of specimens will continue to require Public Health approval before they can be submitted for testing at the Public Health Laboratory; if you have questions about testing for communicable diseases or outbreaks contact the Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency Communicable Disease Unit.
Lab Services
If you have any specimens for testing, please call the Napa-Solano-Yolo-Marin County Public Health Lab at (707) 784-4410 by Noon the same day to schedule a courier pick-up at your site.

Water Samples
Water samples can be dropped off at the Yolo County Department of Community Services office (Environmental Health counter) Monday through Friday before 2:30 pm
