Adult Community Review Board
The Yolo County Probation Department has implemented Adult Community Review Boards in Woodland and West Sacramento with the goal of diverting low level offenders, currently under supervision but in violation of their probation terms and conditions, from further incarceration by making available to them a wide array of community-based services with the ultimate objective of preventing repeat offenses.
The Yolo County Probation Department is recruiting community members who are dedicated to community reinvestment and prevention. The time commitment would be one evening a month. Those interested in becoming a Community Review Board member should complete the Adult Community Review Board application. Note: There is a screening process for all volunteers which requires a DOJ background check via Live scan.
