The California Water Boards have reported that Camp Haswell and Cache Creek Regional Park Lower site have tested positive for HABs (hazardous algal blooms). Stay away from algae and DO NOT let pets go in the water. Visit California Water Boards to stay up to date and always check the HABs reports prior to entering any body of water.

1999 Hwy 16, Rumsey, CA 95679

Located 2 miles north of the town of Rumsey along State Highway 16. This old Boy Scout Camp is ideally situated to enjoy Cache Creek, have a picnic, or just pull off the road for a rest in the summer. Potable water is not available. Portable restroom is available in the summer. This park is heavily used by rafters as a take-out site. Overnight Camping is prohibited. Closed at sunset.
