YoloArts is a non-profit organization, founded in 1981 as a recommendation of the Yolo County Cultural Plan to further the arts and culture of the county.
The mission of YoloArts is to cultivate and advocate support for all the arts; to advance arts education in all county schools and the community; and to foster communication among artists, business, education and government.
YoloArts is the sole arts agency designated as the state/Local partner for the California Arts Council by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors. This vibrant arts group has been a strong fiber in the creative fabric of Yolo County through services, grants, artists in schools, exhibitions and community outreach for over 30 years.
Gallery 625, curated by YoloArts, is located in Erwin W. Meier Administration Building in downtown Woodland (625 Court Street) and offers ten exhibitions annually. Exhibitions typically showcase early to mid-career contemporary Yolo County artists, while connecting residents and visitors to the arts in the County's administration building. The gallery is open weekdays 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and monthly downtown First Friday artist receptions are held from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
