Purpose:
Upon request of the Board of Supervisors, this commission reviews and makes recommendations on specific issues and policy questions, as well as state and federal legislation and regulations relating to the aged, disabled, or other adults needing the protection of authority and state; serves as the County’s policy liaison to the Area 4 Agency on Aging; reviews, considers, develops and advances plans for Board of Supervisors’ consideration for better coordination of County resources devoted to the aged, disabled and other adults needing the protection of authority and state.
