Creek Walk

THIS YEAR'S CREEK WALK WILL BE JUNE 12-14, 2024!

Every year, the Cache Creek Technical Advisory Committee, through coordination with the Natural Resources Division, conduct a physical inspection of the Lower Cache Creek active channel.  This inspection, which is commonly referred to as the "Creek Walk," is held over three days and covers the entire Cache Creek Resources Management Plan area, beginning at the Capay Dam and ending at "Huff's Corner" near the Town of Yolo.

Members of the public are invited to attend the Creek Walk; however, it must be noted that the event requires moderate-to-high levels of physical exertion as it does involve a significant amount of walking across and through the creek bed.
